Hold activities for the Double Ninth Festival to promote the traditional virtues of respecting the elderly and caring for the young.

Recently, as the Double Ninth Festival approaches, the Trade Union of Tongnan District in Chongqing City, together with the caring enterprise Tonghui Gas Co., Ltd., jointly organized a heartwarming Double Ninth Festival condolence event. Wang Chaoyou, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress and Chairman of the District Trade Union, attended the event.
During the event, the Tongnan District Federation of Trade Unions and Chongqing Tonghui Gas Co., Ltd. carefully prepared a wide range of care items for the elderly. They collectively delivered 60 sets of rice and oil, 120 sets of noodles, and 110 sets of biscuits, milk, and flower-shaped pastries to three elderly care institutions. These supplies not only met the basic daily needs of the elderly but also allowed them to feel the warmth and care from society. This Double Ninth Festival care activity covered multiple elderly care institutions in Zitong Subdistrict, Yuxi Town, and Shuangjiang Town. It not only reflects the Tongnan District Federation of Trade Unions’ deep concern for the elderly but also highlights the social responsibility of caring enterprises. Through this event, the traditional Chinese virtues of respecting the elderly and caring for the young have been further promoted, fostering a positive social atmosphere in which everyone pays attention to and cares for the elderly.
Next, Tonghui Gas will continue to hold similar events on a regular basis, providing more assistance and care to elderly people, enabling them to enjoy more comprehensive and thoughtful services and bringing greater convenience and happiness to their lives.
