Golden Autumn Scholarship: Building Dreams Together

On August 26, Chongqing Tonghui Gas Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tonghui Gas) held a scholarship awarding ceremony titled “Golden Autumn Assistance: Joining Hands to Make Dreams Come True.”
At the ceremony, each of the 11 prospective college and graduate students received a scholarship of 8,000 yuan. A relevant official from the district federation of trade unions extended their best wishes to the students for their successful admission to university and expressed appreciation and gratitude for Tonghui Gas’s compassionate scholarship initiative. The official also encouraged the scholarship recipients to cherish their time on campus and their youthful years, studying diligently and striving for continuous progress.
“I’m deeply grateful to Tonghui Gas for their help. Now that the college entrance exam is over and I’m stepping into a new chapter of my life, I’ll keep my dreams close to heart and move forward with determination, always keeping in mind the goal of giving back to society and working even harder,” said Tan Yuan, the student who received assistance, to the reporter.
Cai Yannan, chairman of the Tonghui Gas Union, said: “For many years in a row, Tonghui Gas has been carrying out the ‘Golden Autumn Assistance’ program, using concrete actions to help students from Tongnan realize their dreams of attending university. We also hope to establish a platform for caring about young people, mobilizing more caring groups, and helping more students facing difficulties complete their studies and give back to society.”
A relevant official from the district federation of trade unions introduced that the Tonghui Gas Scholarship Program is not only a caring initiative aimed at addressing people’s livelihood concerns and showing concern for students, but also a heartwarming act of kindness. We hope that all cadres and workers across the district, as well as caring groups, will leverage their strengths to help others with joy and carry out multi-level and multifaceted scholarship activities, enabling more students facing difficulties to receive care and assistance. In this way, the “Golden Autumn Scholarship” program will truly become a heartwarming, people-oriented, and transparent undertaking.
