Love Spreads on Double Ninth Festival, Warmth Touches the Nursing Home

On October 23, 2023, the district federation of trade unions led the caring enterprise Chongqing Tonghui Gas Co., Ltd. in carrying out a Qingming Festival condolence event, bringing warmth and care to elderly residents and extending to them festive greetings and best wishes. Wang Chaoyou, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress and Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, along with relevant officials from the District Federation of Trade Unions and Tonghui Gas, attended the event.
During the event, the care team visited nursing homes in Tangba Town, Xiaodu Town, and Shouqiao Town one after another. They engaged in warm and friendly conversations with the elderly, gaining a detailed understanding of their health conditions, daily routines, and dietary habits. The team also presented them with supplies worth over 20,000 yuan, including rice, flour, cooking oil, milk, and biscuits, enabling the elderly to deeply feel the love, care, and sense of responsibility extended to them by the broader community. At the same time, the team reminded the nursing home staff to pay close attention to the elderly’s physical needs, daily living arrangements, and emotional well-being, ensuring that the elderly can live here with peace of mind, comfort, and happiness.
