Caring for Growth, Building the Future Together—A Care-Giving Event to Celebrate Children’s Day (June 1st)

On the morning of May 30, 2025, members of the Tonghui Trade Union, entrusted by the company and its chairman, joined the District Federation of Industry and Commerce and various vice-presidential units to visit Huiguang Primary School in Guxi Town, Tongnan District, to carry out a “June 1st” care activity. During this event, Tonghui Company donated 22,000 yuan, which was used to purchase school supplies, sports equipment, and additional sports facilities for the 88 students at Huiguang Primary School, thereby providing practical support for the development of education.
At the event, the Federation of Industry and Commerce presented a donation certificate to Tonghui Company. The guests in attendance distributed study gift packs to all the students and extended warm wishes for Children’s Day to the young children. The children tied bright red scarves around the necks of each guest present, and together they participated in various games and activities.
After the event concluded, the group headed to the home of Hou Junlang, a fourth-grade student at the school who had dropped out due to a congenital illness and had been studying at home on his own. It is understood that Junlang has an older sister and two younger sisters, all of whom are currently in school. His mother is unemployed and shares household responsibilities with his grandmother, while his father lost his job just a month ago, leaving the family without any income and dependent on government assistance. Witnessing the stark emptiness of the home deeply moved everyone present. They unanimously expressed their willingness to extend a helping hand and provide further support for the children’s education and daily life. Representatives from the trade union, together with Secretary Ji from the Party Committee of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, presented Junlang with a condolence donation and a study gift package, and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing their support. The moment Junlang saw his new schoolbag, we witnessed a spark of light in his eyes and genuine joy radiating from his face.
Tonghui Company will continue to do its utmost to step up support for vulnerable groups in society and remain committed as always to charitable and public welfare endeavors!
