Ningxia Tonghui Gas Co., Ltd. is funded by Chongqing Tonghui Gas Co., Ltd., a holding company. The company was founded in May 2013, and formally put into operation in October of the same year. The company is located in Zhongwei Industrial Park of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, located in the middle and west of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, at the intersection of Ningxia, Gansu and Mongolia. It is the largest private enterprise specialized in the development, production and sales of liquid carbon dioxide in Ningxia. The main products are food grade, industrial grade liquid carbon dioxide and small bottles filled with food grade liquid carbon dioxide.

The company has passed the ISO22000 food safety and quality system SGS international certification (through the renewal of Certificate in 2019), ISO9001:2008 quality management system certification, ISO14001:2004 environmental management system certification and ohs18001:2007 occupational health and safety management system certification. In June 2018, the company was honored as the "specialized and special new" demonstration enterprise in Ningxia Autonomous Region, and has been awarded Ningxia for two consecutive years (2017 and 2018) "Top 100 quality enterprises" in Hui Autonomous Region, issued a new version of food production license (SC license) in September 2018, and was rated as a supporting benchmark enterprise by Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in July 2019.
